Power ops

Software v1.35.0 ships power doctor, guidance status, printable sheet, and kit. Nodes fail from power ignorance more often than from software. Not free commercial broadband.

Honest rails

Hours-until-ECO estimates are rough. Calibrate battery_wh for your bank. This is not electrical code compliance. Mock SOC is for lab demos; field nodes should use sysfs or INA219.

Mode guide (SOC)

  • NORMAL (≥40%): full portal; live RX allowed
  • ECO (20-40%): pause live RX; serve cache
  • CRITICAL (10-20%): portal only; pause heavy pulls
  • EMERGENCY (<10%): minimal services; pin emergency content
