Field mesh + dual-radio ops

Dual-radio doctor, status, export board, and kit plus mesh doctor, readiness, disaster-drill, and field-kit. Lab sim first; physical mesh only after spectrum check. Not free commercial broadband.

Legal RF rails

Mesh transmit is unlicensed Wi-Fi/ISM only. Satellite path stays receive-only free-to-air. Sim green never replaces a national spectrum check. After disaster drills, turn Disaster mode OFF.

Field day outline

  1. Lab: dual-radio doctor go_sim_validation true + mesh readiness
  2. Review board matrix + storyboard in dual-radio kit
  3. Spectrum check; legal_rf_mode=ism_mesh
  4. Identify MESH_IF (batman) vs CLIENT_IF (phones)
  5. Walk mesh-field-checklist.md (2-node then optional 3-node)
  6. Optional disaster drill; disable disaster mode after
  7. Phones join client SSID without cell data
